Reality Hot Seat is cringe
I tried twice to watch it and found it demeaning to women. It felt like they were trying to explain football to children. It’s fine if you don’t know football, but it was so forced, especially since the people they chose know less about football than I do.
I get that events like this are focused on marketing to new audiences but seems like they missed the mark and can’t see anyone wanting to cross over from one content to the other. I can think of two or three major aspects to change that would have made this palatable. I’m just truly disappointed. This was supposed to be my ultimate crossover since I love Bravo(girl sports) and NFL equally. At least we got an exceptional crossover last month with SLC/Below Deck.
Points for the idea, but negative points for a painful execution. Next time let’s go for more authenticity in the format with someone in the circus ring leader position that has a bit more NFL savvy while still being savage with the tea. Think College Game Day set up w Reunion vibes. Less of WWHL. Make sure everyone understands the assignment.
