this sub radicalized me, im now further right than the republican party

idk how but every time i get on reddit i see the most far left shit of all time and it pushes me away. I looked it up and apparently its called the "Backfire Effect" or "Boomerang Effect". Anyone else?
for anyone wondering what i mean by far right
i went from, immigration is ok to its bad
from diversity is good to its bad
from we should control the corporations more to the gov needs to stop interfering
from trumps not the greatest to hes alright
anyway my family is pretty mixed on politics and i have a lot of leftist friends with a few right wing ones
