Resentment
Husband and I have been married for 3 years, dating for 7 and have 1 child. Most I’ve the time we’ve been together he rarely complemented me or anything of that nature. When we got pregnant he wasn’t really there for me throughout the process and I got severely depressed. In the past year or so things slowly started to change and he mentioned to that he’s been going through therapy. He used to show his love through actions and gifts and now he still does but he’s also way more connected with his emotions and shows me a lots of love. He’s a great father and I do care and love him, but it feels like I wasted a lot of time waiting on that change from him. The resentment I have from all those years has me set on getting a divorce… Is there any way I can get past that and see if we can still work together? Or should I trust myself and separate?
