Fire pits on Market Street? Can I also use one in a public area?

Good evening.

Did I just see a post about fire pits on Market Street on Facebook, in one of the Frederick groups?

What would be the legal restrictions for using a fire pit as a source of heat at, let's say, at Mullenix park?

Does anybody have a fire pit that they do not want?

What would it take to get a permit for my name?
I will be responsible and buy a fire extinguisher.

Are the unhoused members of our community allowed to use fire pits for warmth?
Thank you.
Stay warm.
