As someone who services these things as a living im not saying it to bring business, I have plenty. Most of the posts I see on here are of fireplaces that DEFINITELY should be serviced first, or people who no offense are genuinely clueless, or scary enough, both, lighting isnt the only thing a fireplace needs to do, please don't light a fireplace that hasn't been serviced to your knowledge, or has been serviced last more than 5 years ago, you guys are just asking for trouble, NG, LPG, and CO are not things you want in your homes!!
