I enjoy fantasizing on how society might function differently if society enforced masculinity for male citizens.

Example: Men are required to maintain military ready fitness standards at all drafting ages. To ensure this is done, male citizens have a different process for our state I.D.s than female citizens do. Women get theirs renewed every few years as a matter of paper work and possibly updating their photo.

Men on the other hand must renew our I.D.s annually. To do this we must sign up for a fitness exam. The test is grueling. A big gym room filled with naked sweaty men doing push-ups, sit ups, lifting weights, running laps, doing everything we have to in order to prove we are in shape in accordance with state laws. If you pass, you get a new I.D. for the year and you can go about your business. If you fail, you get one retest in case it was a fluke as long as you do it before your I.D.’s expiration date. Men who fail twice are sentenced to a minimum month of boot camp to force them in shape. They will train at that boot camp and retest at the end of each month until they pass. Boot camp is brutal. You get no personal belongings, no privacy, and no sexual relief while you’re there.
