MEB Question

Hey guys, need some help/advice. So I've recently been diagnosed with a rare and aggressive cancer. I'm undergoing treatment and responding very well to it. I should be done in January, in which case I'll be monitored for the next 5 years by my oncologist before officially being declared cancer free. My doctors are very very confident I won't just put the cancer into remission, but to be fully cured of it. My question is will this inevitably end in a MEB? I've been overall pretty healthy, always scored well on PT tests, and haven't had much in the way of major health issues until now. I'm going to ask my PCM this direct question about the MEB, but wanted to see if anyone has experience with this and what I can expect. Honestly, I just want to be able to start planning the next few years post-cancer treatment. Thanks!
