[Part 5 Vol 12] Why didnt Mynes family move?

(Before the whole Alexandria and Sovreignty stuff) By the time Myne gets adopted she should've left them with quite the sum of money, and when both Effa and Tuuli become part of her personal craftspeople i imagine she dishes out quite the hefty pay for them, so why did they never move from the tiny apartment to at least something with more than 2 rooms? By all accounts they should have the wealth of at least middle rung merchants if not upper rung merchants
