rx 9070 cpu reccomendation for upgrade

Current specs

• 12th gen i7
• rx 9070
• 48gb ddr4 ram @ 2900mhz
• 5 TB through various ssd's and a hdd

* I use my pc mainly for gaming/relaxing when im home *

I upgraded from a 3060ti to a 9070 when the gpu came out and the 3060ti was an upgrade that came out of my last PC.

I want to upgrade my cpu mobo and ram next

my question is should i go for a 7800 x3d seeing as its am5 and i only have a base 9070 and ram prices are STUPID right now

or would a 9800x3d not be bottlenecked enough to still perform better in games/multitasking than a 7800x3d to justify spending the additional $$
