Marcus strode through the beer garden of the university pub, a confident and easy smile on his face. This was his favorite hunting ground and he felt completely at ease here, it had been a long and difficult few months and this was his treat to himself. He spied his prey seated at a bench table not too far away from the bar as he ordered himself a drink. She looked sweet, naive and she commanded the attention of the three guys in her group as the completed and bragged amongst themselves. Reaching out with his power, Marcus sent a sharp spike through her mind, accessing the levers of her emotions and logic; manipulating them so that every time she glanced at him her inhibitions and sex drive would go through the roof.

He settled into his seat at the bar and waited.
