Semaglutide seems to help

advice • support

As the title suggests, I started semaglutide about a month ago and have had a noticeable reduction in the severity of my tinnitus that took effect just a few days after my first dose. The ups and downs are still there, but the ups seem shorter in duration and the maximum volume is overall reduced. Checking the internet, it appears that there are some reports of glp-1s causing or worsening tinnitus as well. I know we all have different underlying causes that will dictate these interactions, so for reference, my tinnitus was originally triggered by Strattera, an SNRI, several years ago, although many people in my family have it, so I was always predisposed. I wonder if anyone here has a corroborating or contradicting experience?
