You guys think Solomon Grundy would make a good villain or at least a side villain for Huntress?

If you say that’s a batman villain then remember it’s unlike writers done the same with Batman before. Plus Grundy is a villain for the golden age Green Lantern so the idea off taking a villain from a different hero isn’t far fetched, especially if it works well.

They both have connections with the criminal underworld which in both cases have death as important attributes for their backstories. And you could easily have him as the hitman who killed her family and in then kills him. But came back to life with a simple goal of revenge against Huntress and his boss for not saving him.

There’s also the David vs Goliath/Brain vs Brawn aspect with the taller but slower and stronger brute vs the smaller but faster and smarter underdog.

And you can make a theme about the dangerous of unchecked revenge and how it would consume you, like she doesn’t kill him. You know because she’s catholic and it’s God’s job or whatever the reason she lets him live. Expect for Grundy who not only kills Roman but also himself, he comes back and wants to still kill Huntress. He represents an aspect of Huntress and her motivations.
