There was a video on instagram that I thought was real. When I opened the comments, everyone was talking about how it was AI. So I commented “Ok seriously how did y’all know it was AI? I need help”

Everything I find wrong with this lady’s response:

•The initial “It’s also common sense”
- …No it’s not? There’s so many people in this world that can’t detect AI, me being one of them (though I am getting better). 

•”Nothing I said was mean or offensive”
-Is stating that it’s common sense when a lot of people CLEARLY don’t see it, not mean?

•”Don’t ever use the fact that you have autism to win an argument/discussion”
-In my eyes, it wasn’t an argument until she tried making it one. Secondly, I wasn’t (at least not intentionally) saying I’m autistic to “win the argument/discussion”. I was simply saying that even if others WEREN’T struggling to detect AI, you never know what someone is going through to cause them to struggle. ALSO, who tf are you to tell me what not to do?

•“It’s just a different beautiful way of understanding things”
-Nothing about this disability is “beautiful”, stop romanticizing it. With every special ability due to autism, comes all of the negatives that we have to deal with.

I don’t feel I’m overreacting, and neither do my loved ones. However, I wanted to come to the ASD subreddit to get the perspective/opinion/views of others dealing with the disability. Please be kind. I’m not here to be ridiculed/corrected.
