Thinking About Grad School for Cybersecurity... Worth It?

^(I’m considering going to graduate school for a master’s in cybersecurity, but I’m not sure if it’s actually worth the time and money. Right now I’m only taking some university courses, not actually pursuing the full degree yet.)

^(Background: I have 4 years of experience as a software engineer (non-tech industry).)

^(My main question is: Can I get a job as an SRE with this background?)

^(The reason I’m thinking about grad school is because SRE roles look promising, and I really want a fully remote job. I’m just not sure if graduate school is necessary or if there’s a better path.)

^(It’s also been hard to even get interview opportunities since my experience is in a different industry from the ones I want to apply to, and my pay is basically stuck(150k).)

^(Any advice is appreciated.)
