Is it normal for a baby ball python to stay in a hide several days in a row?

I just got my first ever pet snake(a baby ball python) a few days ago and she was very explorative at first but then she went in to one of her hides an I haven't seen her come out ever since. Because it hasn't bin a week I can't take her out to make sure she's okay but I starting to get worried.
