Sharp, throbbing pain in my head, cheek/jaw, and throat

When my migraines are particularly bad, I get a really sharp, stabbing pain in my temples, at top of my head, in my cheek, and in my throat. Does this happen to anyone else? I have no idea why it happens, but I’m guessing it’s the blood vessels. I get Botox for migraines and this type of pain comes back when my Botox starts wearing off. For people who have had similar pain, what other things have provided some relief?
