How to remove turmeric stains from clothes?

I was at my isrealis friends house, and was eating their shawarma chicken wraps, but it accidently dripped on my new cream shirt! Its currently soaking in oxipowder, but i dont think that will do much.... What worked for you to get out the stains? Please help :)
