Study CFI initial at US Aviation Academy in Denton, TX

Have you ever attended US Aviation in Denton, TX for your CFI and CFII courses? They use an in-house check airman, which is nice because it reduces the risk of having an FAA checkride failure on your record—CFI initial failures are pretty common, and I really want to avoid that. A stage-check failure is easier to move past. I also heard USAA often hires their own students, although I’ve noticed some former students are still looking for jobs.
