Relapsed after almost a week smoke free, the guilt trip is real.

I wanted to share this because this community has always felt like a safe place so far, to be honest.

So…I was smoke free for almost a week. And it felt amazing. I genuinely thought I had cracked it. But then life decided to throw a whole circus at me and somewhere in that chaos I slipped right back into my old routine. I told myself I could “control it” or smoke occasionally, but yeah.. that was definitely the addiction talking, not me. It didn’t take long before I was sliding downhill like a pro.

I’m trying not to beat myself up over it. I just want to be honest about the relapse and take responsibility for it. I’m restarting with a fresh mindset.

P.S. I’m thinking of giving one quit-nicotine app a shot too. Found it from my last post. Let’s see how that goes. Fingers crossed. If it magically fixes my brain, I’ll update you all. If not, at least we get a story out of it. 😅
