Can I eat Aldi's advent cheese that has been sitting unrefrigerated?

I was gifted the Aldi cheese advent calendar and I was so excited because I love cheese and Ive always wanted an advent calendar, but when I got it I had an event to go to so I put the calendar on my counter and left it there for about 4-5 hours. I just got home and went to catch up on the first few days but the day 1 cheese smelled a little weird. Its the truffle cheddar one though so I dont know if it was a normal smell or not. Either way I checked the box and thats when I saw it said keep refrigerated. Duh. I was in such a hurry earlier I didnt even think about it. The day 2 cheese smelled and tasted fine but I only nibbled it. The calendar is in the fridge now. Will I be ok to still eat it or have I screwed up and I have to throw away the whole calendar?
