How does Mrs Fitz not recognize Claire?

I’m rewatching Outlander to hype myself up for the final season and I’m finding some plot holes hehe. I LOVED season one of Blood of My Blood. I’m on ep 2 of Outlander and I’m sitting here asking myself how does Mrs. Fitz not ask Claire if she is related to Julia Beauchamp? She literally interacts with her several times when Julia helps Ellen Mackenzie….i know that BOMB wasn’t even an idea back when season one of Outlander aired, but i am dying to know how they’re going to connect the dots. Same goes for Ned Gowen who repeatedly had dealings with Henry Beauchamp doesn’t connect the two. Would love your thoughts
