Upgrade question

I currently run an AMD Ryzen 5 5600g in my pc and I've never upgraded or anything. (It came pre-built) I'd like to start getting into pcvr gaming with my quest 3 and im not sure my pc can handle it. What is the recommended move to take here? Do i go for another APU or do i just upgrade the GPU? Any recommended specs?
