Situationship Ghosted me

Just found out my situationship ghosted me saying they can’t handle a relationship, when really they met someone else. I wish people were just more upfront about these things. Why would someone keep stringing you along if they already have the person they want? Why waste the time? I literally stopped talking to them too and they reached out out of nowhere with this long paragraph about how they’re not good enough for me and they suck and i deserve more just to find out they’re talking to someone else. why are people so dramatic omg

i know i need to forget and move on but it’s so hard to keep putting myself out there and have nothing to show for it. never been in a relationship even though my intentions are always good and im always upfront about what im looking for :(
