Where does MAGA go Post-Trump?

Hello. I just found this sub today and I have been exploring at length. I'm a former leftist who has developed a deep distrust of parties as a concept and believes we need a 3rd party in immediate fashion. I don't believe any such group will manifest in a grass roots manner. Rather, I suspect we will see slow fragmentation of current parties until those fragments accrue adequate though meager power such that they become separate entities.

I have my own opinions about the left, but I admit to significant ignorance regarding the right.

How do conservatives view the present and trajectory of MAGA after Trump is, at least ostensibly in present view, no longer a potent presidential figure? MAGA, to me, seems to be a cult-like entity that exists outside of standard conservatism. I hate to use the term Trumpists, but I suppose it works.

For example, would Vance court the MAGA community if he thought they could secure his presidency? Are they considered a permanent fixture or a passion cultural phenomenon? Or is my fundamental view wrong - is it such that MAGA *is* the modern conservative movement?

I wonder about the views of folks on the right who were voting long before Trump made himself the face of all things Republican.
