Looking for Advice on Getting an A-Frame House Built in Kelowna (Using Avrame Kit)

Hello there,

I’m looking to get an A-frame house built on my property in Kelowna, but I don’t have any experience with construction. I’m planning to use a kit from Avrame Canada (https://avramecanada.ca/floorplans), but I’m not sure where to begin when it comes to hiring builders or managing a project like this.

My biggest concern is avoiding overpriced or unreliable builders, and making sure I’m protected if any issues come up during or after the build. If anyone has experience with A-frame kits, Avrame specifically, or just hiring builders for small home projects in BC, I would really appreciate any advice, suggestions, or recommendations.

The goal is to start the project sometime next spring–summer.
