would it be bad to switch houses with my dog?

so i live with my parents but im moving out soon in feb. we have a 1 year old silky terrier that we've had since hes 6 months. would it be bad if me and my family kind of co parented my dog? like would switching the environment be bad for him? like i keep him for a couple days per week or longer periods if i have extended days off. i have a busy schedule and i would feel bad having him in my apartment for 10+ hours alone when i'm working. when hes by himself at home he be sleeping tho and chilling. i'm really not sure if this is a good idea, i don't want to cause him stress since hes still a baby. but i love him soooooooo freaking much, but i also don't want to be selfish either.
