Metronidazole + Boric acid

I got diagnosed with BV and got antibiotics for it about 5 days ago. I was told to take them twice a day for 7 days. I’ve been using them while also using boric acid vaginally about every other day. The odor of my discharge has completely disappeared, but the color is still white and the consistency is still weird. Should I call my doctor or should I just see if the discharge gets better within the next few days? For context I’ve been sexually active with a new partner, I had symptoms for about a month before I decided to see my doctor.
