What's your boardgame group lingo
Inspired by the recent post regarding popular phrases that have come into English from games. What are your phrases and lingo that has infiltrated your boardgame groups
A few from the top of my head from my groups, we play a lot of leder games and many have bled over into other games:
- Got Sushi Go'd (cards stack up in a drafting game and you lose track)
- Catan Draft (snake draft)
- Plant that bean (when someone has to take the worst item in a bidding/auction)
- Gotta smack the vagabond (attacking the one who will eventually be in the lead, if they're not yet)
- I'm only attacking you because it's in my decree
- I didn't know anyone declared that ambition (someone scores a victory point in an unusual way)
