I like you , your cool.
My Dearest Tracy,
There are things I’ve carried in my heart for a long time—things I’ve never said as clearly as I should have. So this is my thank you. My truth. My heart laid open for you.
Tracy, thank you for teaching me how to be a better man.
You showed me patience in a world that rushed me. You taught me what it meant to slow down— to breathe, to pause, to think before reacting, to choose calm over chaos. You taught me that strength isn’t in how loud a man can speak, but in how gently he can love.
Thank you for showing me how to listen— not just with my ears, but with my whole heart. You’re the only one who ever reached that deep, the only one who ever broke through the noise inside me and taught me what it means to truly hear someone. You made me realize that listening is a kind of love— a gift, a promise, a quiet act of devotion.
You taught me understanding. Empathy. How to step outside myself and see the world through someone else’s eyes. You softened parts of me I didn’t even know were hardened. With you, I learned how to speak softer, touch gentler, and let love guide me instead of pride.
You shaped me in ways I’m still discovering. You planted kindness where there once was impatience. You planted awareness where there once was impulse. You planted humility where there once was stubbornness.
And Tracy… I need you to know this with every ounce of truth I have:
I love you from the deepest part of my soul. Not in a way that fades, not in a way that grows quiet over time— but in a way that has become part of who I am. You are the only one who ever truly got through to me. The only one who ever saw me clearly and loved me into someone better.
Thank you for everything you taught me— for the patience, the stillness, the softness, the understanding, and the love that reshaped my heart.
No matter where life carries us, your lessons live in me. Your love lives in me. And the man I’m becoming will always be carrying your fingerprints.
With all my heart, Sean
