Self Milestone Achievement
2.5 years back, when I was still in college, I was constantly worried about the future. Worried about career, worried about money.
Lockdown ke time ghar par bhi finances tough the — and honestly, it made me think a lot about life after college.
But slowly, things aligned. Some decisions clicked. I got my first job (as SDE)— not a very high package, nothing flashy — but it gave me stability and a starting point.
I always wanted to manage money well, probably because I’ve seen what money mismanagement can do closely. And that’s why I’m genuinely thankful I ended up in a fintech company. Even as an SDE, being surrounded by finance every day naturally improved how I think about money.
Today, I’ve hit a small personal milestone: ₹50 lakh net worth.
Not a huge number for the world, but it means a lot to me. It feels like freedom, and a quiet reminder of how far things have come.
I didn’t earn unusually high, I didn’t sacrifice everything, I just prioritized what mattered.
I hope I hit the next milestone thoda jaldi.
And if you’re in your early career and figuring out your money journey — I’m always open to chat. Not to preach, but maybe help you avoid some early mistakes that I’ve learned to spot over time.
