Detective’s Fortune of Love.

Post Heresy

We now come to what I think is the most difficult of these posts. I was already working on this and meant to release it sooner, but I accidentally deleted the previous post I was working on. So now I’m trying again. Hopefully, I don’t repeat the same stupid mistake. For now, enjoy.

Omegan felt trapped and annoyed, a feeling she often got whenever she had to listen to another one of Alpharia’s long, drawn-out schemes that were part of the so called, ‘master plan’. It wasn’t just that, but any time things went awry, and Omegan brought it up to her twin, Alpharia always played it off like that was part of the plan, all along. Omegan still remembered all of the terrible plans that put her in harms way when Alpharia decided to have them switch places with one another. All Omegan wanted was to have Detective. Her Detective. Even though Alpharia would always differ in that sentiment about who Detective belonged to, especially now, it was always Omegan who loved Detective in his entirety from the very beginning. It was her who found Detective first, who cherished him first, and gave herself to him first when she didn’t have to be Alpharia.

And while Omegan wasn’t opposed to sharing, that didn’t stop her from being annoyed about Alpharia’s behavior and antics. The two of them had gotten into so much trouble with their sisters, their mother, and even their new stepfather, over something that Alpharia just considered to be a prank. “Hey! Are you listening?! This is an important part of the plan!” Alpharia’s voice suddenly boomed in Omegan’s ears, but the Lady Omega had reach her limit. “Pay attention! I-“ Alpharia started speaking again, but received an armored fist straight to her face, sending her flying into a wall. “Shut up!!! Shut up, shut up, shut up!!! Just for once, you arrogant little brat!!! SHUT…UUUUUP!!!” Omegan’s eyes burned with rage and exhaustion, her face showing more than just her irritation, but also her desperation to have this nightmare end.

Omegan had tears beginning to roll down her face, as all she was wanting right now was her Detective and nothing else. Alpharia recovered and returned to her twin, with Omegan expecting her to make some kind of jab at her as it was already part of the master plan. But instead, the Hydra embraced Omegan with an unusually warmth. Omegan still had her guard up, as she knew these forms of affection from Alpharia could also be faked just so she could get close to her target or appear apologetic but not actually mean it. Despite the paranoid feeling Omegan had for her sister’s true intentions, she hugged Alpharia back. The warmth of the embrace melted any sense of paranoia Omegan had about her twin’s true intent. “I’m sorry. I know…I miss him, too.” Alpharia stated, referring to the twin sister’s Detective.

Their husband was currently busy working with Starlight on some kind of project. As much as the twins tried to find out what it was that Starlight needed Detective’s help with, they weren’t able to follow because of Magnolia concealing her Starlight’s intentions from the twins. This had left Alpharia and Omegan to their own devices, and often the two of them reached an impasse when not being able to stalk, or as they called it, watch over their husband. Now, the twins simply sat while in each other’s embrace, both having tears streaming down their cheeks as they clung to each other like lost children. A sudden knock at the door of the twin’s bedroom cause the two half-Primarch’s to look up from their teary hug, “Come in.” The two said in unison before the door opened.

Magnolia the Red stood in the doorway, her open good eye falling in seeing her two sisters still hugging one another with their faces bright red from crying. “Sorry. Am I interrupting something, here?” Magnolia asked. Alpharia quickly broke away from Omegan’s hold as she stood up, the Hydra not wanting to admit that she had been caught without notice by one of her sisters. “No! No, there isn’t anything you’re interrupting. What did you want?” Alpharia asked, making Magnolia smirk in amusement. “Oh? Really? The master infiltrator Alpharia is asking someone else what they want?” The Sorceress Queen giggled to herself, making Alpharia’s cheeks flush red with embarrassment and anger. “How dare you!!! If you didn’t stand any taller like the red nerd giant that you are,-“ Omegan rolled her eyes at her twin before standing up, “Oh, never mind that! Tell us. What did you need?” Omegan asked again.

Magnolia stopped smirking before speaking, “I came to bring you both up to Aurelia’s spire.” The twins both raised an eyebrow. While they knew their Preacher sibling had a Spire that was apart of the Imperial Palace, neither of them knew anything about it as its true purpose was always concealed to them. “What does she need from us?” Alpharia asked, not wanting to busy herself with any interaction towards Aurelia. Of course, Magnolia could still read all those thoughts, “This had nothing to do with Aurelia. It’s all about Detective.” Hearing that made Omegan instantly flip a switch. “Take us to him.” The Omega twin stated bluntly, “Wait? Hold on a se-“ “No! No holding on! No waiting!Take us to Detective, now!” Omegan interrupted her twin before Alpharia could protest. Magnolia opened a portal behind her then turned to her twin siblings, “Then if you will…please follow me.” The Sorceress Queen beckoned to her sisters before stepping through the portal.

Omegan followed immediately after, not caring to consider something might be off, not that anything was as she could always tell when any of her sisters was being deceptive. One of the benefits of being the Primarch of the Legion most known to lie and weave webs of deception. But Alpharia stalled as she always thought anything she was walking into was also a trap. ‘This could be a trick.’ Alpharia thought to herself, her paranoid sense taking hold as she still didn’t trust any of her sister’s true intentions. Omegan’s hand shot out from the other side of the portal, “Hey, wait-“ Alpharia screamed before getting ya ked through the portal. Once through to the other side, Omegan’s other hand clasped around Alpharia’s mouth, “Shhhh…be quiet. Follow me.” Omegan whispered before releasing her sister.

Alpharia grumbled in annoyance as she followed after her twin. Magnolia and her Starlight both peaked around a corner while holding finger’s up to their lips to gesture for the twins to be quiet. Alpharia and Omegan peaked around another corner and saw their husband sitting across from Aurelia, with a large crystal ball sitting in the middle of the table the two sat at. The two half Primarchs had puzzled expressions as they watched this scene unfold. “Alright. So to set this straight. You ask me questions about the twins, and if I answer all of them correctly, you’ll give me a reward. And if I lie about one, then I get no reward. Correct?” Detective asked. “That’s right, Detective. And in fairness…I’ll probably still give you the reward I have in mind. I wouldn’t know what else to do with it if I didn’t.” Aurelia responded. Detective nodded, “Well I hope whatever I get was worth climbing all those stairs to get up here.” Aurelia laughed at her in-law’s statement.

“Oh I’m sure it will be! Now…first question. Describe them with six words. Three each.” Aurelia started. “Easy. For Alpharia. Mischievous. Cunning, if a little bit arrogant at times. Though she still holds a sweetness underneath.” Detective’s first half of his answer made Alpharia blush bright red with embarrassment. Omegan giggled at her twin, “Oh? Someone starting to feel…a little lovestruck?” Alpharia gripped onto the wall as she burned with anger from her twin’s teasing. “And, Omegan. Adventurous. Strong. And…compassionate.” Omegan followed the same pattern as her twin sister, her cheeks blushing red, though for her it was rather because of love instead of embarrassment. Aurelia felt rather surprised at hearing Detective state such persona’s about the twins, as from her past experiences, Alpharia and Omegan had both equally annoyed and irritated her with their pranks and antics.

“I’ll be honest, Detective. I’ve not really seen much in the way of compassion or kindness from either of my sisters. But…I don’t put it past them being possible to change.” Aurelia admitted before asking the next question. “What is their favorite food and drink?” Detective rolled his eyes, “A classic Birthday Sponge cake. Usually one Alpharia stole from Fulgrim’s bakery, or one I bake and decorate for them. As for favorite drink, Alpharia’s is mimosa. Omegan…chuckles It’s Apple juice.” Aurelia giggled at that last answer. Omegan went back behind the wall, her face bright red with embarrassment, “Next question. What is your favorite part of them?” Aurelia continued. “Alpharia. Her ridiculous, if overt at times, pranking that always gets her in trouble. Omegan, her protective and still bubbly attitude.” This answer made the twin’s smile at how well their husband knew them.

Aurelia smiled brightly before continuing, “Next question. What is your favorite physical part of them?” Unlike the other boys that came before him, Detective didn’t blush with embarrassment. “Simple. Alpharia’s ‘flower’. And Omegan’s ass. Sorry that I’m not sorry for my vulgarity.” Detective said while smirking to himself. Aurelia nearly spit up some water as she laughed while taking a drink, with Magnolia and Starlight both clasping their mouths to not let out their laughter. The twins both blushed again in embarrassment, “That son of a bitch!!!” Omegan growled. Aurelia regained her composure as she sat back up in her chair, “S-Sorry! A-Anyway…w-what…ahem. The final question. What is the greatest thing they’ve ever done for you?” Aurelia asked. The confident smile Detective had been wearing wavered, “Greatest…thing they’ve…ever done for me?” Detective said to himself as he thought for a moment. “Take your time. No need to rush.”

Omegan felt worried, hoping that she wasn’t a bad partner that hadn’t done anything for her husband. Alpharia had no such concerns as she never really bothered trying to be a good partner in the past. “For Alpharia…it’s when she admitted her true feelings for me. And for Omegan…when she saved me from myself.” A flash from the past entered Detective’s mind as he recalled the time he nearly committed suicide. Omegan remembered that day when she stopped Detective from performing lethal injection on himself, and how hopeless and downtrodden Detective looked when she found him. The Omega twin couldn’t stay hidden anymore, “Detective…my love.” Omegan’s voice entered her husband’s ears, making Detective turn to see one of his wives as Alpharia stayed out of sight.

“I…suspected you heard all of that.” Detective stated to his wife. Omegan smiled before embracing her husband, tears starting to well up in her eyes. “Thank you…for staying with us. Keeping me and Alpharia together.” Omegan smiled while nuzzling her teary face into the crook of Detective’s neck. Aurelia smiled at her sister’s affectionate side showing itself, “Hey, uh. Omegan…shall we see what our reward is?” Detective asked. The couple turned to the Word Bearer Primarch, with Aurelia waiting patiently for her sister, “A small token to represent your bond. And perhaps…a little bit more than that.” Aurelia pulled up a fairly sizable box and opened it to reveal a mix of mystery murder board games and brain teaser puzzles. Detective smiled at this gift, as the mystery solving Operative always had a deep love of mystery games and brain teasers, something both the twins shared with their husband.

“Well then…we can spend many more hours solving mystery’s and more brain teasers. Shall we, my darlings?” Detective asked as he collected the box. Omegan smiled as she followed her husband out of Aurelia’s spire, with Alpharia staying hidden from her Preacher sister even when Aurelia was already alerted to the Hydra’s presence. Alpharia followed after her husband and twin, “How is it that you like Omegan’s ass better than mine?!” Alpharia blurted, making Omegan and Detective raise an eyebrow. “We have the same ass! So what is it that makes her’s better than mine?!” Detective rolled his eyes, “Alpharia, sweetie. I’ve seen hers more than yours cause she enjoys being naked around me more than you do.” Detective responded, making Omegan smirk. “What happens when you don’t get with our sexy boy sooner.”

Alpharia’s cheeks burned bright red, “What does that have to do-“ Alpharia continued arguing with Omegan even after the trio reached their room, with Detective enjoying simply listening to his wives argue over something he considered ridiculous and stupid while he entertained himself with some of the Brain teaser puzzles.

That’s that. I struggled to get this one right since it couldn’t just be Detective answer the question with only Omegan. But I still managed to get it done. The next one will be more simple as Centurion and Juno will be up next. Don’t want to cause myself too much of a headache with the new post so it makes sense for it to be about ‘boring’ Mama Smurf.
