Astra Malorum big with wonder weapon?

I was using the wonder weapon and frenzy guard for the Easter egg, and in the middle of doing dps, my damage dropped to 0’s and 1’s. I had to wait about a minute and then my damage slowly returned back to normal. Has anyone experienced this? Is it intentional?
