Elysium farm

Hey yall. I’ve been trying to farm elysium and I’m at the part where I need to collect 3 archfiend essence fragments. I started farming for my unidentified 34 and after a week I finally obtained all that I needed. However I’ve come to find out that I need unidentified 27 and from my research the only way to obtain it is by buying a rare nulgath sword pet and starting the quest from it. Is that really the only way to obtain unidentified 27? If it is then I just wasted so many days 😭
