I’ll be in Quebec for new years and wondering what to expect?

Im arriving on the 31st on NYE with a friend. We’re staying in old Quebec and im curious what to expect as I’ve never been before. What will be going on for new years? I’d love food and activity recs too! We’ll be there for 5ish days.
