Long term progression games (ie Runescape, Warframe)

Hey yall, Im looking for a game that I can play for months/years and feel like I'm chipping away at something with meaningful incremental progress.

I've played both Runescape and Warframe and they kind of scratch that itch. I've also played Guild Wars 2 and it's great but sadly the latency in my region makes it difficult to enjoy.

I love ARPGs like PoE and seasonal games like Tarkov but the league-based model is not really what I'm looking for, I want something more permanent (and don't say 'play standard'). This also goes for roguelikes and other run-based games where the replayability comes from resetting often. I'm also not looking for idle games such as NGU either.
