Halo season 3

So from what I gather is Paramount+ has officially canceled the production in 2024. Since Netflix picked up the franchise off of paramount and had huge success and influx of viewers customers etc. Why doesn’t Netflix just buy the rights to the show so they can continue to make good shows? Sick show so far love it and dreading the end of season 2 being left on a cliff hanger I’m sure 🙄
