Looking for insight from dog owners on a crate concept I am developing

Hey everyone

I am a designer and dog owner in Berlin and I have been exploring some ideas around how crates feel and function in day to day life. I am trying to understand what actually matters most to people who rely on crates at home or for travel.

For those of you who use crates regularly, I would really appreciate your perspective. What makes a crate comfortable or stressful for a dog. What features make your life easier. What do you wish existed. And what are the things that do not work well in your current crate.

I am not asking for training advice, just trying to understand the real world experience of living with crates and what people value most in them.
