AITA for finally telling my mom everything my dad and grandma have been saying about her?

I (16F) have been stuck hearing things about my mom from my dad and grandma for years, and not in an accidental or indirect way, they say it directly to me. No shame, no hesitation, no awareness of what it puts on me.

My dad has told me outright, mu;tiple time, that my mom is "not intelligent," that I'm "more emotionally mature than she'll ever be," and oncw said she was autistic (she isn't). When I tell him not to say things like that, he doesnt apologize, he just doubles down or acts like I shouldn't take it literally, even though he stated it plainly.

My grandma talks differently but the impact is the same. She tells me she pays everything, handles the and that my mom "should be working," which always feels like she wants me to see my mom as someone who isn't trying or isn't enough.

Eventually, all those comments build up in my head and I asked my mom about, about work, rent and everything I wasn't supposed to know. She asked who told me, and I didn't want to drag my grandma into it, so I said I was just asking. It turned into an argument not because she was angry at me, but because she was hurt that her own life was being explained to me by everyone except her.

I ended up crying in my room afterward, genuinely overwhelmed. My dad came in, and instead of calming me down or asking if I was okay, he continued. While I was literally crying in a corner, he told me again that my mom "isn't as intelligent as you" and "isn't emotionally intelligent like you." He said it casually, like observation, not comfort. It felt like he wasn't there to support me, just to reinforce his view of her even in that moment.

Later when I calmed down, my mom explained that she has been applying for jobs, trying, and dealing with her own personal stress. She told me she is doing her best. Hearing that directly from her felt completely different from hearing everyone else's version.

I eventually told her everything Dad and Grandma had said. Not to destroy, just because I couldn't keep carrying their words for them. She confronted them, and I stayed in my room, but it escalated fast. They denied what they've openly said to me many time. It didn't sound like a normal family argument, it sounded like something tearing.

I'm leaving for the holidays, but when I return, it'll just be me, and dad, and my grandma. And I genuinely don't want to come back. I already know I'll be expected to pretend I never heard any of it, and I'm tired of being the container for everyone's opinions when I never asked to be.

I didn't tell my mom to break the family apart. I told her because I was drowning in information that was never meant for a child to hold.

AITA for finally telling the truth, even if I was the thread holding everything together?
