Where to learn more about this?

I have watched the minecraft arg and it fascinated me so much that i want to read some more about The King in Yellow. I downloaded the book but when i went to check the comments it didnt have much good reviews and some were saying they were just "cheap horror stories about the people who read the book". English is not my mother language and the language of the book makes it relatively challenging for me to read so i want to ask people who are more cultured about the story, what do you recommend me reading next, would it be worth it?
