Superbly acted, super moving scene. Hal asking Kate why she can't be happy with Callum.

Hal five minutes later in the same episode: 'yeah, I completely used you and lied to you. After we gave the UK every reason to distrust us, after you did everything you could to regain that trust, we just majorly fucked the UK over again by stealing a nuclear wmd from a sub off of their coast.

But Kate, darling, why can't you just be happy?'

Hal is the fucking worst.

And the wheel spinning, constant tension and drama between them, with nothing just good and fun happening, made season three so much less enjoyable than the first two.

Just get a real freaking divorce already, and never, ever see each other again.
