Can a Government of Saskatchewan employer provide a SINP Job Approval Letter?

Hi everyone,

I’ve been offered a permanent full-time IT job with the Government of Saskatchewan. I want to apply for PR under the SINP Skilled Worker With Existing Work Permit stream or Tech Talent pathway.

I know that normally, a Job Approval Letter (JAL) is required from the employer, and the employer must hold a Certificate of Registration (COR). My question is:

Can a government employer provide a JAL under this SINP stream?

Has anyone successfully obtained SINP nomination while working for a provincial government employer without a private-sector JAL?

Any tips on how to proceed with SINP application with a government employer?
