Indian exam requirements for the FASTRACK path
I'm a fresher in the finance industry and I recently completed my MSc in Financial Economics. I'm planning to start the CFP journey, but I'm a bit confused about how the process works.
I've heard there might be a fast-track option for people with a finance-related postgraduate degree—does that actually exist? Also, does CFP require work experience before taking the exam, or can I start writing the exams while working and then complete the experience requirement later?
Ideally, I'd like to begin the exams now and work in the industry simultaneously, and then get the charter after completing the 3-year work experience requirement. Is that how it works, or am I missing something?
Anyone who has gone through this process, your insights would really help. Thanks!
