Rain Stream - Battlepass Gun

Hello everyone. New player here, PS5. I purchased the battle pass and unlocked the Rain Stream weapon. I equipped it and went to test it out. I was ambushed by 3 Chasers, and died. My question is: is my weapon gone forever? Is it possible to craft it again? This game wouldn't do something like that... Would it? Thank you.
