Apprentice Fuck Up

Had my first major fuck up within 3 years of being apprentice.

Started a new job last week dual trade. Got given the old beaten up wagon on its last legs and the new year going to be buried in the desert.

Just me and the boss for next 2 weeks. Finished at 1:30pm sick going to be home at 2:30. 5 mins away from home. bumper to bumper traffic, traffic takes off at slow pace and suddenly the car in front breaks and this wagon laden with tools so much the back sinks. Just doesn't stop in time and I ding the car in front and another.

Luckily enough the work car was was worse off for wear and only has superficial damage to front bumper but I have never done this in a work car and feel like shit . Oh did I mention it's my second week.

Called the boss and owned up to , he didn't yell or anything just sounded disappointed. I've mess up like any apprentice but never to this extent. And it's only me and him for the next 2 weeks.

Should I just start looking for another job?
