Have I understood it correct in the following??

For me the extra hours have been a nice bonus, but I don't rely on them, if Octopus give them great, if they dont they dont

I have noticed my car has been charging a bit funny over the last few weeks, wonder if they've been testing things out?

I also have a 77kwh battery in my EV, so surely this just means I'll have to charge more often?
