How should I make my friends watch TQQ

So, there is a friend of mine whom I want to watch TQQ, but the thing is that, whenever I mention TQQ he calls it a gooner anime just because it has 5 girl's falling for a single boy, he even called me a gooner when I bought the first seven volume of the TQQ Manga and showed it to him. He has never watched a single Slice of Life and Rom-com anime, he's one of those shonen meatrider who thinks that if it's not shonen it's not good. So, i want him to start his journey through the slice of life genre with TQQ which is peak and also because i need someone with whom I can talk about who's the best girl in TQQ.
