Travel or Rent? I’m stuck.😅

Ask r/Nairobi

I’ve never traveled before, and lately I’ve been dying to visit a nearby East African country just to experience something new. I’ve saved up my ka money, and my rent is already covered until March next year.

But here’s the thing, the money I want to use for the trip can actually cover two more months of rent. Now I’m torn between spending it on my first ever trip or playing it safe and keeping it for rent

Has anyone been in this kind of situation before? Is a small East African trip worth it for a first-timer, or should I just chill and wait? Any advice or recommendations would really help 🙏🏽
