Hey long hair havers!! Advice for satin vs silk

I’ve got one silk bonnet that I use every night, and honestly it’s been amazing for keeping my hair strong and healthy. But… I don’t love the style of it. And real silk bonnets are kinda expensive, plus I can’t seem to find one in the exact style I want (ideally something with ties and or a comfy elastic band).

Everyone always says silk is the best option, but I’m wondering… how much difference does it actually make if I switched to satin instead?

Like, for real — do you guys personally notice a big difference between sleeping in satin vs silk? Does your hair feel better, worse, or pretty much the same?

Would love to hear your personal experiences because id really need to change up my bonnet
