Sound Quality was really bad when using samsung type c to 3.5mm adapter.

hi,im using Xperia 1 which doeasnt have a 3.5mm jack.which leads me to buying samsung adapter for it.on my laptop.the earphone is great.great bass,i can hear clearly whicb sides the sounds coming from.but when i use the adapter and plug my earphone to my xperia,the sound is js painfully shit.low bass,not too clear and sometimes cutoff,for records i have no equalizer app running.
