metro rail operator hits pedestrian on wheelchair Saturday night on Elgin/Main

Did anyone see this happen? Or has anyone wondered why nobody is talking about it? My boyfriend is a METRO rail operator and said his coworkers found out their new coworker hit a pedestrian (possible homeless) who i guess wasn't paying attention to the signals of an upcoming train or what but the train clipped him and pulled them underneath the train. My boyfriend said they told him he's dead but also mentioned that nobody at work officials have told employees anything about the situation either. Idk i try to search it up and there's just like one or two small articles with like a few sentences of little information but wild
